I can’t believe that Tracy’s Tidbits is FIVE years old!! I started this blog as a way to share my knowledge and experiences with other planners to help shorten their learning curve. I want to leave a legacy that equips the next generation of event professionals through this blog, complimentary resources, and my published book. *
And, as I traversed the globe over these years, as many meeting and event professionals do, I came across an increasing number of “unseasoned travelers” especially after 2020 when life as we knew it changed. People found themselves with an increasing desire to take vacations once they were allowed out of the house, and provided me with ample fodder for Traveler’s Tidbits. They started out as individual blogs sprinkled among the usual repertoire, intended to be helpful to the reader, albeit sassy. However, as they increased in number, ended up as a separate page on my site. They are single-paragraph tidbits, “advice” for new travelers, and if you haven’t read them before – and are looking for some entertainment – I highly recommend them.
Thank you to those of you who have supported me and liked, shared, and commented on this blog! For any new folks just tuning in, I hope you get just as much information as you do enjoyment as you go back and get caught up! Stay tuned for more of Tracy’s Tidbits!
Tracy’s book, Cultivating a Healthy Volunteer Team, can be purchased where books are sold, or on her website tracybaer.com.
